Double the value of your year-end gift
to Sonoma Land Trust

Great news! We expect to close escrow on the Jenner Headlands next week. Protecting the Jenner Headlands is just one example of how your year-end donations will be put to good use. Jean Schulz has pledged $2 million to preserve large landscapes like the Jenner Headlands but her generous pledge must be matched, dollar for dollar. So far, we have raised $1.1 million — we’re more than halfway there!

Help us raise the remaining $900,000 by December 31. Each gift saves land, protects wildlife habitat, adds miles of trails and provides more public access. Below are three easy ways to help and remember — all gifts will be doubled!

1. Holiday gift memberships
Why not give your friends, co-workers and family members gift memberships to the Sonoma Land Trust for the holidays? Your gift will have twice the impact because it will be matched by Jean Schulz! Click here to donate gift memberships. Please choose the gift amount, select “gift membership” and fill in the requested information so we may send a note to the honoree.

2. Make a special year-end gift to our Redwoods to the Bay: Saving Sonoma County Signature Landscapes campaign
Your donation will accelerate the pace of land conservation in Sonoma County and protect our remaining large open spaces. Let’s pass on a legacy of open land for future generations.

3. Donate from your IRA tax free
IRA owners aged 70-½ and older can transfer any amount up to $100,000 from traditional or Roth IRAs to the Sonoma Land Trust. The transferred amount would be excluded from your taxable income.
